Introduction.
Hello and welcome to this guide. As said before this is a guide for port forwarding and server hosting for Anarchy Arcade. Port forwarding can be a tricky and hard part depending on your ISP (Internet Service Provider). Some requires you to log into their website and do it there (e.g. Telenet (my isp btw)) or type your local IPv4 into your web browser search bar and do it there. (We'll get to that later.)
So let's get started shall we?
Finding out your local IPv4.
Finding your local IPv4 is very easy. you just have to go to start and search for "cmd" and run it as administrator. A black window will pop up. I'm sure some of you already used this.
Now type into your command prompt "ipconfig /all"
I list of network information will show up. Now look for IPv4 adress, Subnet mask, default gateway and DNS servers. Write them down in notepad or something because we're going to use them later.
Wowzers! You just found out what your IPv4 is! (but if you didn't knew this yet, please don't host a server.)
Setting up a static IP.
This is a very importand step and if you don't do this your IPv4 will change over time (depending on your ISP) and the port won't be open anymore. first go to control panel and then go to "network and internet". Second click on Network and Sharing Center and on your left panel click on "Change adapter settings". There you will see two or more "things". Right click on the network thing you currently use and select properties.
Now another window will pop up. Select "Internet Protocal version 4 (TCP/IPv4)" and select "properties"
Select "Use the following IP" and input the information you wrote down on your notepad. Done? Select ok and close all the tabs. There, Done! Simple as that!
Port forwarding
And now the hardest part for those who have never done it before. Port forwarding! (insert dramatic sound here). Yes, it took me about 2 or 3 years to find out how to do it with my ISP who so wants to be different from the rest. so I'l show you how to do it with my ISP but I will have to use different pictures for the Type-Your-IPv4-Into-Your-Webbrowser method.
The Log-In-Your-ISP-Website-And-Do-It-There mothed
First of all prety obvious, go to the website of your ISP and log in. Don't know the login? Ask whoever pays for the internet (usually your parents) and explain its for a school project about networking. Lies! Search for something that has to do with wireless settings, IPv4 or port forwarding. Go there and you will see a couple of things (<10/10 guide right here)
Fill in your Local-IP adress, Begin port and end port should be "27015" (Half life 2) as protocal select both and make sure its active.
This should be the result.

The Type-Your-IPv4-Into-Your-Webbrowser method
Type your IPv4 into your broswer search bar, login and the same as as shown before.
F**k you im too lazy for pics, be happy I do this guide in the first place, something wrong? just comment.
Hosting a server.
Very easy, just start your arcade and select "multiplayer". Do your information stuff and be sure to uncheck LAN.
To make sure its not only in LAN (this is what happens when you don't port forward) just press esc, click on find server and select the tab "internet".
Is your server in that list? Yay you just succesfully hosted a server!
