Nimitz Tactical Strike (Easy-No AI Takeoffs)

Nimitz Tactical Strike is an intense and extemely immersive air-to-air combat scenario. Take off from the USS Nimitz and eliminate the enemy threat!

This is the EASY VERSION with NO AI-TAKEOFFS from the carrier. Adjusted for better gameplay with more than 2 players.

If you want to play this mission SINGLE PLAYER, please start this mission via MULTIPLAYER LAN

Best played with two or more players.

Tips:

Having trouble moving the planes on the deck? Equip your UAV terminal that you have on you, if not find some in the support boxes on the deck. Open the UAV terminal and then you can control any of the stompers on the deck!

Want to double up in one of the two-seaters? You can! All of the two seater planes are unequiped, so make sure you load them up with weapons, especially the ALTFLIR targeting pod so the Weapons Officer can attack air units.

Be mindful of your fuel. Using afterburners for an extended period of time will deplete fuel much faster. Make sure you have enough for the trip to and from the combat area.

Going at it solo? It may be more frustrating doing it lone-wolf style. Play with your friends to help you out!

Known common issues:

- You sometimes will spawn in the water. Just respawn until you end up back on the carrier deck.

- Does not work properly in single player scenario. Play in multiplayer LAN only if you wish to play alone.

- AI planes that spawn and takeoff at the carrier every 8 minutes and loiter around right after. So after about an hour there will be several planes circling the carrier which may cause some issues. May update for less frequent takeoffs.

- Not all planes can be towed.

- Planes that are in the service stations are not meant to be used.
